Our client one of the leading retail companies in U.A.E. requires a Cashier for their operations in Al Ain and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 – 3 years of experience working as a cashier with any retail industry.
Duties and responsibilities include:
– Greets customers, answerphones and direct customer inquiries to appropriate party / sales person
– Receive and process payments as per standard procedures and respond to routine customer billing issues
– Validate credit cards, identification and signatures moreover specifying transaction amount, money received and change due
– Open and close accounts in the retail outlet including cash handling and deposits – Validating the money in the register at the beginning and end of a shift, and ensuring that it balances correctly
– Handle customer returns, refunds and exchanges at register to maintain friendly work attitude
– Support customers at point of sale to ensure world class shopping experience – Add on sales and describe technical information through selling techniques to promote salesmanship and reach store sales goals.
– 2 years minimum of customer service or sales experience
– Detail oriented and highly observant
– Ability to multitask
– Cash handling experience preferred
– Proven good customer service background
– Typically maintains professional demeanor
